Filament Productions: Luna, Teaching Artist

Deanalís Resto (They/She/He/Him/Her/Them) is a Pennsylvania-raised Boricua teatristx who loves to sing, dance, and have conversations with Mama Moon, sometimes alone, and sometimes with friends! Some favorite past roles include Trixie in Knuffle Bunny: A Cautionary Musical, Evillene in The Wiz, and Fly in Diary of a Worm, A Spider, & A Fly, all with Emerald City Theater. Fun fact: It wasn’t until the tender age of 28 that Deanalís really learned to ride a bicycle, but now it’s their favorite way to get around Chicago! Much love to her cowboy Dad, who has always been a great source of love, support, and inspiration.
