Monica M. Brown (she/her)  is a freelance stage manager here in her hometown of Chicago and is so very happy to return to work with Filament! This is her third production with Filament where she previously stage managed The Secret Yes and The Snow Queen. Monica is a proud ensemble member with The New Coordinates where she most recently stage managed Small World. Monica is also the Resident Stage Manager at Albany Park Theater Project where past shows include God’s Work, FEAST and Ofrenda, as well as both the world premier production of Learning Curve and the upcoming Port of Entry, both immersive productions conceived in partnership with Third Rail Projects. Monica’s other Chicago credits include work with Goodman Theatre, The Neo-Futurists, Young Peoples’ Theater of Chicago, and Chicago Children’s Theater. Monica has also worked as a Guest Artist in Stage Management at her alma mater, Cornell College in Mount Vernon, IA.
