Roy (he/they) is the SPARK program intern at Filament. They are in their second year at the Theatre School at DePaul University, majoring in Theatre Arts and Psychology. Most recently, he was a part of the assistant directing and dramaturgy team in the Theatre School’s production of How to Clean Your Room. Originally from South Florida, he studied ballet, modern, and jazz at Dance Dimensions and taught various styles of dance for seven years in their summer camp. They also performed in plays, musicals, and choral concerts put on by their high school. 

Theatre by and for young audiences has always had a special place in his heart, and he is so excited to work on this incredible project at Filament.
