SPARK! - Filament Theatre

CREATING TOGETHER

Filament Theatre creates work for, by, and with young audiences. SPARK is an internationally-renowned new work development program where young people curate the entire experience! With support and skill-building from Filament’s artistic and education directors, a curatorial team of 3rd-8th graders are entirely responsible for the selection of up to three SPARK artists. Selected artists will spend six-weeks in residence at Filament Theatre where they will develop their project with financial, creative, and administrative support from Filament's staff and youth collaborators. Interested in applying? Find out more below!

"I really liked knowing the different types of projects and I liked how we discussed our thoughts about them. And I liked knowing that I helped choosing what people or audiences will see."
