Zuri Gilbert (she/her) is the assistant director for Gather. She attends Beaubien Elementary School where she is in 8th grade. Some of her favorite past projects were the short film that she wrote with her dad directed and produced, acting in an online play over the summer, starting to write a book and editing videos for her dad’s business. Recently she went to a film festival in L.A. for the short film that she made. The film also got into a film festival in Chicago and many more. She has been writing for a while now and has been in the process of many other scripts. She plans on continuing her passion for film making and is constantly asking her dad for things she can do for his business like editing videos or taking photos on set or to go on set with him while they shoot films. She has always had a passion for writing and filmmaking and she doesn’t want to stop. Once the camera is in her hand there is no turning back.
