Megan Lopp Mathias (she/her) is a proven leader and speaker with the vision and foresight to disrupt the legal industry and captivate any room. Megan’s highly collaborative communication style leads to strong relationships that drive results for small business owners to Fortune 500 company executives. Megan focuses on and frequently speaks on Empowerment of Female Entrepreneurs, Women Breadwinners, Legal Tech and Legal + Design, E-Discovery, Virtual Trials, Challenges of Start Ups, GC and C-Suite Leadership, and more.

Megan’s speaking events include: Google HQ, Girlcon, Relativity Fest, CEO Chicks, and Chicago Attorney Moms. She carries 20 years of experience inspiring awe across audiences of nearly any size or industry.

Megan Lopp Mathias is an active leader and participant in the community with involvement in the following organizations: FLASH (Force of Lawyers Against Sexual Harassment), YWCA of Metropolitan Chicago, Lifespan, the Coalition of Women’s Initiatives in Law, Seventh Circuit E- Discovery Council, American Bar Association, The Ross K. MacNeill Foundation, and the Executive Board of Women in Management. Megan’s work has been recognized by: NBC Chicago, the First American Legal Technology Awards, WeWill Women, The Founding Moms, Best Lawyers Magazine, Alliance for Women Chicago Bar Association, and the National Charlotte Danstrom Women of Achievement Award.

Megan has three children ages 5, 7 and 16. After losing her partner to cancer, Megan and her family expanded their commitment to the arts as part of a larger philosophical shift, to cope with the loss, and to help create positive impact in the community. Megan is thrilled to be on the Board of Filament and help raise awareness of the benefits of the arts for children.
